They produce some very "warts and all" statistics that many other companies would bury or put spin on. You're also right about policy decisions, they aren't made overnight, they are announced that way and that's where I think Linden Lab need to grow up. The trademark issue is one that really should have been discussed and debated long before it was announced. Catherine used to do office hours, I have a lot of respect for Catherine, she's extremely articulate and very witty, I'm sure she could have explained this in a cool calm manner given the right platform.
